Can you create a preservation for me if I no longer have the flowers?

Yes I can! I can either work with my local florist to get the flowers you would like to preserve. I will just need you to send a photograph that clearly showcases your flowers. You can also get them from your local florist and then ship them to me, following the shipping instructions that you can find here. If you prefer for me to source your flowers, there is an upcharge, however you won't have the expense of shipping your flowers.

Can you preserve flowers that have been air dried already?

Absolutely! I can work with fresh or dried flowers as long as they do not have any mold.

Can you create a piece with faux flowers?

Yes I can! Faux flowers and wood flowers both preserve beautifully.

How can I get my flowers to you if I don't live in Louisiana?

Great question! I provide detailed shipping instructions here so that you know the best way to ship your flowers to me so they arrive in the best shape possible. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your flowers to me.

How long does the preservation process take?

My current turnaround time is 3-4 months. The drying and designing process takes time and I give the utmost care and attention to detail to each and every order. The end product is worth the wait!

Can I include items like an invitation, vows, fabric, or other keepsakes in with my piece?

Absolutely! Just include the items with your flowers with a note on how you would like them incorporated. If you aren't sure at the time you ship your flowers, I will happily design something for you. All Block, Tray, Bookend, and Shadow Box preservation is sent to you for design review before it is finalized.

How can I add others items/products to my order if I have already placed my order online?

Yes you can! Simply follow the same ordering process as you did when placing your initial order. In the Notes section during checkout, simply provide your original order number.

Will my flowers look the same as they were fresh?

Flowers naturally change during the drying process in silica gel. Some blooms may deepen or slightly shift in color, and textures can become more delicate. While they may not look exactly as they did fresh, preservation captures their beauty in a lasting, meaningful way.

Will I be able to see the design of my piece before it is cast in resin?

All main preservation pieces (blocks 8x8 and larger, trays, bookends, and shadow boxes 8x10 or larger) come with a design review and up to two revisions.

Do you accept international orders?

Unfortunately I do not. I am only servicing the USA.

Why are there bubbles in my resin preservation piece?

Although I take the utmost care in minimizing bubbles in every piece, there will be occasional micro bubbles that may be visible, or bubbles behind a flower that is only visible from the back of the piece.

Can I list flower preservation on my registry?

You certainly can! You can provide links to your favorite pieces on your registry or I offer The Blossom Grove e-Gift Card as an option to those who would like to contribute to your flower preservation. Providing both options on your registry is the best way to go!

Do you accept last minute orders?

Absolutely! We know that life gets busy and that some flower preservations come from the loss of a loved one. The process is still the same as if you had purchased your preservation in advance.

Do I have to reserve my date for preservation prior to placing my order?

This is not required, but you are certainly welcome to! Ensuring your flower preservation is ordered is one less thing to worry about leading up to the big day!
